Yes. As part of our commitment to client peace of mind all pet sitters are background checked.
Yes. In the event of an emergency or Pet Sitter illness we will send a back-up Pet Sitter to ensure continuity of care for your pet.
We happily take cash, checks, Zelle, and PayPal. Payment is due on the first day of the pet sit or on the day of the first daily dog walk of the week.
Payment for Pet Sitting is due by the day of the first day of the job. Payment for daily Dog Walking is due on the day of the first dog walk of the week.
Yes. There is a holiday fee of $25 for the following holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day
Pet Sitting cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are billed at 50% except on holidays. Holiday trip cancellations at billed at 100% 1-7 days prior to departure and 50% 14-8 days prior to departure.
Dog walks are billed at 100% for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.

Yes. We administer oral and topical medications, shots, and sub-cutaneous IV fluids. Please contact us for pricing to administer medications. There is no charge for medications administered in food.
We prefer that all clients purchase a lockbox to house your keys while you are away. We recommend the ShurLok lockbox available on Amazon. There are also several varieties of lockbox available at local hardware stores.
When a key is provided it will be kept in a key box in the Peace of Mind Pet Services, Inc. office. Keys and access fobs should be provided in the initial Meet and Greet visit with the Pet Sitter. Key pick-up and drop-off will be billed at $20 per trip.
Clients living in restricted access apartment complexes must provide a reliable means of accessing the property during hours when the property management staff is not on site. Pet Sitters will not wait until another tenant grants them access to the property.
When a client home has electronic locks, key fobs, and garage codes keys must either be hidden on the property or left with a neighbor in case of power outage or low battery issues.
Peace of Mind Pet Services, Inc. is not a boarding facility nor do we board client pets in our homes.
In the event of an illness or injury, your pet will be taken to the Veterinarian listed on your Vet Release Authorization form. After hours your pet will be taken to the nearest Emergency Veterinarian unless specified on your Vet Release Authorization Form.
Daily Dog Walks occur between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. During the extreme heat of summer months we do make exceptions and start earlier in the day so your dog does not get over heated.
